Since October 2014 I have been a member of the Digital Curation Unit (DCU) of the Research Centre Athena, where I participate in several research projects as analyst / software developer. I received my B.Sc. in Informatics and Telecommunications and M.Sc. in “Advanced Information Systems”, both from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of Athens, Greece. Before joining DCU, I worked as a researcher at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at University of Athens in the context of several European and National initiatives.
My research interests are mainly focused on network-centric architectures, pervasive computing applications, distributed systems and data management. In addition, I have considerable experience in educational technology and adult education.
