The “Researchers’ Night” will take place in Athens on Friday 30 September. The event will be hosted at the historical building of the National Technical University of Athens at the city centre, and more specifically at the Averof building in Patision avenue.

The kick-off meeting of DSI-2 will take place in Brussels on 7-8 September 2016. The event is organized by Europeana and the Austrian National Library.

The LoCloud conference entitled “Sharing local cultural heritage online with LoCloud services” will be held in Amersfoort, Netherlands on the 5th of February 2016.

As part of LoCloud, an international competition has been launched to stimulate people to explore a favourite place or part of their local history through Europeana and present their experience online in webpages, a blog or video.
