Director’s Mandate of Agiatis Benardou Renewed by the DARIAH-EU General Assembly

The DARIAH-EU General Assembly has unanimously renewed the mandate of Dr. Agiatis Benardou as Director of DARIAH-EU, extending her term until the end of 2028.

The decision was taken during the 29th DARIAH-EU General Assembly, held at the Cyprus Institute and online on Wednesday, 19 November 2025.

Dr. Benardou, who currently serves as President of the Board of Directors, will continue to guide the consortium through its strategic development, strengthening DARIAH’s role as a key European Research Infrastructure for the arts and humanities. Her renewed mandate reflects the Assembly’s confidence in her vision, leadership, and longstanding commitment to the DARIAH-EU community.
