Participation in the DARIAH Theme Workshop "Facilitating Cooperation Between Humanities Researchers and Cultural Heritage Institutions"

pic-dariah-1024x579The Digital Curation Unit and our colleage Maria Ilvanidou took part at the DARIAH Theme Workshop “Facilitating Cooperation Between Humanities Researchers and Cultural Heritage Institutions,” held in Warsaw on 19-20 June 2018 and co-organized by Digital Humanities Centre at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Trinity College Dublin, and Creative Commons Polska. The aim of the workshop was to promote digital research methods and academic re-use of the digital heritage content in the European academic community. The workshop’s outcome was a short hands-on online guidebook on how to set up re-use strategies: 1. helping heritage professionals share their collections in a way that is most inclusive and enables re-use of the resources, 2. helping researchers to find, use and re-use heritage resources in their academic work.
